This month we have conducted our school readiness forum

In babies this month we used our 5 senses to explore. We had a variety of different activities to liven our senses including banana mash, where is the dinosaur tufty tray with real fruits and vegetables, exploring frozen fruit water, sensory scented playdough, exploring hot and cold by pat table and mark making with frozen berries.

This September in butterflies we have been exploring the local library. We have taken a few trips there now and have chosen to focus on Julia Donaldson books as our author of the month display board. We will expand this into our learning and development areas and have already enjoyed creating our own characters. They also experimented with some baking and made avocado chocolate mousse which went down a treat with the children and their families.
