Nursery Manager | SENCO

My name is Megan and I am the Nursery Manager at Orient Close.

I began my Monkey Puzzle journey back in June 2014 as a Nursery Assistant in the baby room at our Ridgmont Road setting. In February 2019 I transferred over to Orient Close as Junior Manager before being promoted to Nursery Manager. I am very proud of both myself and my team for our Outstanding Ofsted inspection back in January 2023.

Throughout the years I have gained a variety of childcare qualifications and experienced various roles across all age groups. This has strengthened my passion not only to support the children within the setting but also recognize the importance of supporting my staff and the parents too. I take pride in all achievements however big or small and look forward to being part of our future achievements.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my three dogs, taking long walks and seeing my family. I also enjoy cooking, baking, reading and listening to music.
